The group exhibition The Bunker • Dialogue, curated by the prominent contemporary artist Mr. Zhang Peili and featuring six artists—Lu Lei, Guo Xi, Zhang Ding, Shao Yi, Zhang Liaoyuan, and Jiang Zhuyun, opened at The Bunker on June 11, 2017. Located at the old site of the Duan Qirui government, the exhibition space enjoys a particularity which allows the six artists to use sound, video, installation, and concept to demonstrate the relationship between artworks and their spatial environment. Unveiling six pieces, Brain, The Neighbor Upstairs, SongMo, ◻︎◻︎◻︎, Free Space, Out of Void, the artists exerted their creativity and imagination, compelling the audience to linger, reflect, doubt, and interpret in myriad ways.
Mr. Zhang Peili mentioned, ‘Dialogue’ here does not refer to the conversation between artist and curator, the artists themselves, or even that among artist and audience; instead, it denotes the dialogue between the artist or his work and a specific site. Although it is not the central theme of this exhibition, the notion of dialogue underscores the artists’ understanding and command of a particular space. As the opening exhibition of The Bunker, The Bunker • Dialogue has already attracted many artists and art-lovers alike.
2017年6月11日下午4点，由著名当代艺术家、策展人张培力先生策划的陆垒、郭熙、张鼎、邵一、张辽源、蒋竹韵六位新锐艺术家的联展《掩体·对白》在北京段祺瑞执政府旧址的掩体空间开展。在掩体这个形态独特的空间里，六位艺术家分别以声音、录像、装置、观念的方式呈现了作品与空间环境之间存在的关系。这些艺术家发挥了他们天才的创造和想象力，分别展出了《脑》、《楼上邻居》、《宋墨》、《◻︎◻︎◻︎》、《留白》、《凭空》六件作品，它们以不同的方式使观众一次次驻留、思考、怀疑或理解。
张培力先生提到，“对白”不是指艺术家之间或艺术家与策展人之间，以及艺术家与观众之间的对白。它更多意味着艺术家及其作品与特定空间之间的对白。对白不是展览的主题，而是为了强调艺术家对特定空间的理解和掌控。《掩体·对白》作为“掩体空间”的开馆展，吸引了众多圈内艺术家和艺术爱好者。
